Biographical Profile of
Marriage & Family Therapist Intern
Theresa is a compassionate Christian therapist who has come to understand through life experiences that we all have strengths which can be developed and challenges from which we can heal and grow. As your therapist, she will use a variety of techniques to help you achieve your personal, professional, and spiritual goals to become who God has created you to be.
Theresa has years of experience developing children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds through a variety of individual, family, and group treatment modalities. Treatments are tailored to each individual in accordance with his/her strengths, interests, and goals by utilizing developmental assessment and behavioral plans.
She is currently an MFT Intern of University of Phoenix. She earned her Bachelor of Science: Child Development from A&T State University and is certified as an Early Childhood Socio-Emotional and Behavior Regulation Intervention Specialist. She is also an active member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, has a (EC-SEBRIS) and a Women’s Ministry Leader.
