Biographical Profile of
Karen Clark Mejia,
Marriage & Family Therapist Intern
Karen believes in being a Philanthropist of People; to invest in the lives of others as an investment for our future because “we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:10). She believes everyone has unique gifts and talents, however, there are times when life has a way of taking us off course from discovering and using those things.
Karen has a variety of experience that includes working with pregnant teen moms, those dealing with poverty, mental health and recovery issues, stress and anxiety management and the importance of self-care.
Currently an MFT Intern from Bethel Seminary, she earned her BA from Point Loma Nazarene University, is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and has a certification in Crisis Intervention from UCSD.
